Here at SEO Hacker, we use different tools to meet our goals for our company and our clients. We want you to be able to do the same.
So I’m letting you know the tools we use internally to improve our team’s efficiency and output, as well as the tools we use for analysis and optimization for our clients.
Qeryz is an as-you-go microsurvey tool that helps you know what your visitors are thinking. It’s a Conversion Rate Optimization tool that helps you direct your marketing and product efforts to what your market needs and thinks. Try it here – it’s free.
Ever notice how we get a good number of social shares with our articles? It’s all thanks to Blogpros. Get a load of their network of social sharers for a few bucks. It helps social proof and is a positive SEO signal to boot!
I know, I know, linkbuilding is hard and you sometimes get in a rut when prospecting for websites to reach out to. It happens. That’s why there’s Inkybee for prospecting blogs and people we want to build relationships with. It’s an AWESOME prospecting tool – but don’t take my word for it. Try Inkybee out and see for yourself!
Linkbuilding is ALIVE. We all know it and there’s no getting around it. For creating powerful, link equity-filled backlinks, we use Buzzstream. It’s an awesome way to reach out to bloggers, webmasters, resource page managers, and other people who may have a link opportunity waiting for you. It’s the ultimate white-hat linkbuilding tool to date. Sign up for a free trial here!
Hubstaff is a time tracking tool we use to make sure that everyone in the team is doing what they’re supposed to do. It takes 3 random screenshots in a span of 10 minutes just to keep everyone on their toes. I cannot recommend this tool high enough. Try it here.
Screaming Frog is one of the best (and extremely vital) SEO tools out there. In fact, the Screaming Frog SEO Spider is nominated for a UK Search Award for best SEO software. I’m giving it the SEO Hacker’s best SEO crawling software award too! Try it here.
Cognitive SEO is the tool we use to check backlinks. It has everything you need to know what your link profile looks like. We also use this for any sign of negative SEO as well as for churning out the bad links and disavowing them to Google. Try it here.
Inspectlet is a tool we use to check out what every user does in a client’s website. It’s way better than heatmapping and click tracking – it really records each of your user’s mouse movements and clicks! When I first saw the tool, I couldn’t believe it – it’s improved our conversion rate several times over. Try it out here.
If you don’t know SEMrush, you’re probably new in the SEO industry. It’s one of the go-to tools when it comes to keyword research and competitor analysis. I can’t begin to explain to you how much SEMrush has eased out our competitor analysis process whenever we send a report to a client. It’s so easy to pull reports from this tool. Try it out here.
With the rise of Penguin came the much needed awareness of our link profiles. There is no better way to track the status of your backlinks (old or new) than Monitor Backlinks. This tool helps you know if there’s any change with your site’s backlinks – whether it became a nofollow link, the page was 301 redirected, the page broke with a 404 not found code, etc. Highly recommended SEO tool. Try it out here.
Arguably the best project management tool for developers. Pivotal Tracker has helped us in our improvement of SEO Hacker’s looks and feel. If there’s a project on development, we immediately put the team and the tasks on our Pivotal Tracker account and hack away. A highly recommended tool for development teams. Try it out!
Notice how fast our site loads? The culprit: MaxCDN. It’s arguably the best CDN provider out there. I’ve been using their service ever since I can remember – and man, have they delivered! Get your free MaxCDN account here and boost your site speed like never before.
There’s no other Rank Tracking tool I use except for RankTracker. It gets the job done, easy to use and it has an awesome support team backing up any issues and providing updates as Google changes. The only thing about it is that you’ll probably need your own proxies and captcha buster – but it doesn’t have any keyword limit to how many keywords you want to pull up and check. Try it out!
SE Ranking is one of the SEO tools that we’re using. Its features include daily rank checking of keywords, website audit, and competitor analysis. What we love about this tool is its accuracy, the user-friendly interface, and the comprehensive dashboard where you can have a basic overview of your website’s performance, and even allows you to export the reports in PDF, XLS and CSV format.
